Promoter Spotlight: thnksfrthrvw25th August, 2016

thnksfrthrvw is a creative and independent blog, with an appreciation for the biggest names and those just starting out. Spanning all areas of the creative scene like music, film, fashion and more, they bring original and honest reviews, interviews and interactive/handmade zines that have led to accreditations for some of the UK’s (and beyond) biggest artists and festivals.

I’m so excited to be a part of this amazing festival which really represents the community spirit that Guildford is all about. The line-up is bursting with some of the UK’s best young artists at the moment, and I’m so excited for everyone to hear our pick of FlashFires and Sophie and The Giants!” – Jasleen Dhindsa, founder of thnksfrthrvw

Head to the wellness area of the festival site, known as The House of Hatha, for some Bad Juju Yoga.

Join a class for a dynamic and creative alternative to your usual yoga practice. Run by Jo Smith, a passionate Dru Yoga teacher and lover of all things punk. Dru Yoga is described as ‘stillness in motion’ and uses movement along with breath, positive affirmations and empowering visualisations.

Whilst many people see yoga and punk being at opposite ends of the spectrum, Jo likes to see it as something that bring balance and moderation into one’s life. Go and give it a try!

Check out all the other workshops happening at House of Hatha here - remember, all of these are free to join in!
