Learn your warp from your weft at our workshops of creative wonder - join us for some yarnbombing with Lady Wulbits; to ceramics, jewellery, and painting - our practitioners will be on-hand to show you the way.

For appreciators of all things handmade and vintage there’ll also be various stalls sprouting between the House of Hatha and The Crafty Peacock areas to peruse; selling women and men’s clothing, accessories, homewares, pre-loved, up cycled and inspired by yesteryear.

Peas and Needles

Weaving is a fast-growing trend, well known for its therapeutic tendencies and allows you to play with texture and colour culminating in the creation of your own wall hanging. Ideal for beginners to learn the basics and get stuck in!

Boxhead craft

Drag yourselves away from the screens and get creative with Boxhead Craft. Create a character from a blank box using your imagination and a diverse range of art products.

Lady Wulbits

Guerilla Yarnbombing in the Flesh. Grab your crochet hooks, knitting needles and some wool and create something colourful for the whole community that will jazz up any urban environment.

Sculpt it

Ruth will be leading an Always the Sun inspired large art project using peddles, that all ages can get involved with.

Flourish Kids

Learn and make aboriginal art with local practitioner Immy Evans. She will explain the inspiring history behind different cultures artistic heritage and guide you through making your own item to take home.

Walkabout theatre, giving people the tools they need to properly regard and enjoy a piece of art. We have a silly art questionnaire, a silly step-by-step safety guide to art, and interactive performers to guide you through the world of art.

Synesthesia Workshop

Tap in to the right side of the brain and allow music to form pictures through your paintbrush. Allow yourself to be guided by the colourful shapes that you see in your mind.

Grow Wild

Grow Wild is the UK’s biggest wild flower campaign, bringing people together to transform local spaces with native, pollinator-friendly wild flowers and plants. Get involved with their workshop where they will be showing you how you can grow your own wild flowers at home. Pick up a postcard and take home your own wildflower seeds to spread the horticultural word!

Lush

Everybody knows Lush are known for their beautiful scented, eco friendly and relaxing bath bombs. Find out how they are made with incredible all-natural ingredients and stunning colours.

Guildford Library; Makerspace

Guildford Library has just launched its own Makerspace and will be running an interactive fiction workshop where you can digitally choose your very own adventure through coding. What’s even more exciting is that the story will only develop as others add content.

Halow

Our good friends at the Halow Project charity will be running a selfie-mask making workshop. Make a funny festival face to wear around and see who wins the King of Fools!
