Promoter Spotlight: Quatre Femmes Records
Quatre Femmes Records was founded in 2013 by Alan Clark, in order to release the music of his daughters, Hannah Lou Clark, and Charlotte Clark. It is now run by the whole family based in Hampshire, where the music scene is vibrant, and they continue to collaborate with innovative local artists.
“Son Joan blew us away when we heard his demos and then we saw him live and thought of Link Wray , Graham Coxon, Cramps, Alan Vega, Suicide great art punk swagger. We produced and put out Menagerie Melodies his debut ep October 2015. He’s now moving up to bigger things and we are so proud. Burnz ( led by Joe Bernie) we saw play at his ICMP graduation with his band, they blew the roof off The Mermaid Theatre! He has been constantly gigging and it shows. Great performer with band or solo. We heard Jeff Buckley, Prince and Cousteau (anyone remember them) we had to get him to ATS to show such musicality.” – Alan Clark, founder of Quatre Femmes Records
