DJ, label owner, and mastering engineer to the industry’s elite artists; Tank’s legacy comfortably ranks him as a leading player in dance music culture. Tank’s rise to the forefront has been more than just gigs and remixes, his contribution to the scene as an engineer at Warm Audio Mastering plus his labels Planet Acetate and JamHot records, means he’s become a name synonymous with quality house music. His productions “Jacked” and “Never Enough” have been dropped by legendary DJ Solomon on the Radio 1 Essential Mix and by Sister Bliss on Ministry of Sound Radio.
Last year marked Tank’s strongest work to date, with releases on Low Steppa’s Simma Black and the launch of Jamhot Records which has been the key to stripping back his music and going back to his roots, creating more underground, club ready tracks. With all this and still finding time to master tracks for artists such as Thirdson, Pete Oak, Darren Emmerson, Raxon, Jobe and Just Her, it’s no wonder Tank has deservedly maintained his status as an indispensable asset to modern dance music.
