The Amazons
The Amazons are a four-piece rock band signed to Fiction Records (The Maccabees, Tame Impala)
They were a part of Radio X’s Great X-Pectations this year, and in April 2016 were invited by BBC Introducing and Huw Stephens to record four live tracks at Maida Vale. The performance, and interview, went out live on Huw’s BBC Radio 1 show. Having recently released their first single ‘Stay With Me’ (Produced by Tom Dalgetty, Royal Blood) MTV Rocks added the video to their B-list; and has had strong support at Radio X, BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Virgin Radio and Absolute Radio.
It was also added to Virgin Radio’s first ever play-list and the band were invited down to Virgin to perform an exclusive David Bowie tribute.
Not ones to slow down, they’re currently recording their debut album with Grammy-nominated producer Catherine Marks. (Foals, Wolf Alice).
