THE BAKE OFF
Taking place within Always The Sun Festival, the Bake Off is open to all baking enthusiasts, be it buns, brioche, bread to Battenbergs. Enter your cake into the Bake-Off to be judged by our fabulous judges, Amanda Masters from Experience Guildford, the Natural Cook Company, and Guildford’s very own MP Anne Milton.
Post-Prize-giving we will also be hosting a grand Tea Party to round off the weekend in civilized fashion. Prizes to be announced!

HOST A WORKSHOP
Calling all artists and crafty sew-and-sews! We’re looking for enthusiastic, creative people to join our gang hosting workshops in some of our fabulous areas.
Imaginarium Imaginarian noun “A person concerned with imaginary things; a fantasist.” Everything and anything is possible within the canvas walls of the Imaginarium: let your inner child roam free to wander. This area is all about play for young and old alike – with feats of physical prowess, madcap scientific experiments; and sensory workshops – exploring what it is to play and let your mind run fantastically wild.
*Crafty Peacock * Learn your warp from your weft at our workshops of creative wonder. We’ll have local craftspeople teaching a mix of traditional and contemporary crafts for all ages and abilities to pop in and learn a new skill.
*All The World’s A Stage * A space to explore the corners of the imagination through theatre, dance, and storytelling. Be inspired by talks from bright thinkers; be a part of the story at our workshops, or sit back and watch the story unfold. Our drama workshops for young minds forge a link between creativity, play and social skills; an interactive and engaging learning experience. Get swept up in the magic of drama and dance from local and travelling companies as we create an emporium to the weird, wonderful and fantastical world of words.

Traders
As with Always the Sun 2017, there will be a bounty of food vendors selling a tantalising array of delights from across the spectrum: think hand-reared and cured meats, mouth-watering vegetarian and vegan dishes, and sumptuous seafood; affordable and delicious for all to enjoy.

STEWARDS
Come and join our friendly, welcoming stewarding team. Our stewards help to keep the festival safe and our customers happy. You can steward for a day or help out over the whole weekend. You won’t go hungry and will have plenty of free time to enjoy yourself. It’s a great way to enjoy the festival and meet new people.
